This term, pupils from Gosford Park had the exciting opportunity to take part in a HADO event — a cutting-edge augmented reality sport that blends physical movement with digital gameplay. Played on a 10x6m court, HADO sees teams of up to three players using headsets and wrist sensors to launch energy orbs at opponents while deploying shields for defence. It’s fast-paced, strategic, and a whole lot of fun!
Our pupils truly rose to the challenge, demonstrating fantastic teamwork, agility, and enthusiasm throughout the event. Their energy was infectious as they tackled each match with determination and celebrated their successes with pride.
Beyond the fun, the event offered a brilliant way to build key skills such as coordination, strategic thinking, and collaboration. It was a memorable experience that encouraged pupils to step out of their comfort zones and embrace new challenges with confidence.
We’re incredibly proud of their sportsmanship and spirit. The HADO event left a lasting impression, and we’re already looking forward to future opportunities to explore innovative and inclusive sports like this.
Well done, Gosford Park! Keep aiming high and embracing every new adventure with the same passion and positivity.
