The Christmas holidays are here, and Coventry Family Hubs have lined up an amazing range of free activities, workshops, and sessions for children, young people, and families across the city. Running from 22nd December 2025 to 2nd January 2026, these events are designed to bring joy, creativity, and community spirit during the festive season.
What’s Happening?
From craft-filled festive fiestas to breakfast with Santa, there’s something for everyone! Here are some highlights:
- Festive Fiesta – Dive into a world of sparkle and creativity with hands-on crafts and cosy moments. (Harmony Family Hub, CV1 5GR – No booking required)
- Snowman Spectacular – Frosty fun with snowy play activities and winter-themed crafts. (Aspire Family Hub, CV1 2SF – No booking required)
- Breakfast with Santa – A magical morning with Santa and Christmas crafts. (The Moat Family Hub, CV2 1EQ – Booking required at coventryfamilies.co.uk)
- Santa’s Elves’ Workshop – Cookie decorating and festive crafts with Santa’s helpers. (Pathways Family Hub, CV6 1HD – No booking required)
- Winter Movie Magic – Snuggle up for a family-favourite winter film with popcorn. (Mosaic Family Hub, CV4 9LP – No booking required)
- Pop, Sparkle and Play – Glitter, bubbles, and sensory fun for all ages. (Woodside Family Hub, CV3 3GL – No booking required)
There are also special sessions for parents and babies (0–2 years) like Bump, Baby and Beyond and Baby & Me, offering support and a chance to meet other families.
Family Hub Opening Times
- Open as normal: 22nd, 23rd, 24th December and 2nd January.
- Selected hubs open: 29th, 30th, 31st December (Families For All, Park Edge, Woodside, Mosaic).
- Closed: 25th and 26th December for Christmas Bank Holiday.
Extra Support During Holidays
Family Hubs are more than just activity centres—they provide:
- Help with cost of living (food, fuel, toiletries)
- Warm spaces for a free hot drink
- Emergency food access and clothing support
- Safe spaces for young people
- Advice and wellbeing services, including health visiting and midwifery support.
