It has been a busy and rewarding start to the year at Gosford Park Primary! Our PTA has been working hard behind the scenes to support our students, and we have some fantastic updates to share from our most recent March notice board.
A Disco to Remember 💃
First off, a huge shout-out to everyone who supported our school disco back in February. It was a brilliant night full of energy, and we are thrilled to announce that we raised a massive £594! A special thanks goes to:
• Our amazing teachers for their enthusiasm on the day.
• The parents and carers who helped organize the fun.
• Paul Mully, our fabulous DJ, who kept the dance floor packed. (If you’re looking for a DJ for your own event, you can reach him at 07880 553353).
Reading for a Cause: The Read-a-thon 📚
We’ve just wrapped up our very first sponsored Gosford Park Read-a-thon! From March 5th to 15th, our students (and quite a few adults!) dove into their favorite books to raise money for the school.
The children are currently finishing up their sponsorship collections. Every penny raised is going directly toward brand-new reading resources for our classrooms, so a huge thank you to all the sponsors who are helping us foster a love for reading!
