Year 1 trip to the Coventry Transport Museum!

Our Year 1 class recently had a truly fantastic time on our visit to the Coventry Transport Museum, and we’re still buzzing with excitement about all the amazing vehicles we saw!

From the moment we walked in, our eyes were wide with wonder. We explored everything from magnificent vintage cars and speedy motorcycles to fascinating bicycles and even some of the earliest forms of public transport. It was incredible to see how transport has changed over the years, and the children particularly loved spotting the vehicles that looked like they were straight out of a history book! The museum offers such a rich and engaging experience for young minds, and it really brought our classroom discussions about transport to life.

We want to extend a massive thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who joined us on the trip! Your help and support made the day run so smoothly. Having extra pairs of hands to guide the children, help with activities, and ensure everyone stayed together was invaluable. We couldn’t have managed without you, and we are so grateful for your time and enthusiasm.

On behalf of all the Year 1 children and staff, thank you all for making our visit to the Coventry Transport Museum so memorable, educational, and fun! We highly recommend a visit for anyone looking for a great day out – you won’t be disappointed!
