What an incredibly HOT day it’s been—but that didn’t stop Year 5 from having an unforgettable adventure in Coventry!
The children had a fantastic time exploring history up close. They navigated busy roads safely, stood in awe at the ruins of the old Coventry Cathedral—damaged during World War II—and even experienced the chilling sound of an air raid siren. They stepped into the shoes of historical figures by dressing up in wartime costumes and soaked up fascinating facts to bring back to the classroom.
A huge thank you to all the wonderful parent volunteers who joined us and helped make the day run so smoothly. Your support is always appreciated!
As the heat continues, please remember to stay cool, drink plenty of water, and take care.
