Celebrating Coventry City’s Promotion Together 💙⚽

At Gosford Park Primary School, we are proud to be a community school, and we believe that celebrating our city and its achievements is an important part of bringing our school community together.

This week, we are excited to be celebrating Coventry City Football Club’s fantastic promotion to the Premier League, an achievement that has brought real pride and excitement to our city.

Wear Blue – Friday 1st May

To mark this special occasion, we are inviting children to come to school on Friday 1st May wearing something blue. This could be something simple such as a blue T‑shirt, jumper, socks, hair accessory, or denim. There is no expectation to buy anything new, and as our school uniform is already blue, this fits perfectly with what pupils normally wear if preferred.

Children may wear non-uniform on the day, as long as they include something blue, helping us to create a sea of Sky Blue across the school.

Celebrating Our Community

As a community school in Coventry, we place great value on helping children feel connected to their local area and proud of the city they are growing up in. Celebrating Coventry City’s achievement is a wonderful opportunity to talk with pupils about teamwork, resilience, aspiration, and the joy of shared success.

We are really looking forward to marking this moment together with the children in a positive, inclusive, and fun way.

Play up Sky Blues! 💙
