We are delighted to share the wonderful news that The Gosford Park Readathon was a huge success, and we couldn’t be prouder of our amazing school community.
Thanks to the incredible enthusiasm and commitment of our pupils, along with the generous support of parents, carers, friends and family, the Readathon raised a fantastic £1483.19. This brilliant total will go a long way in supporting the school and will directly benefit our children’s learning experiences.
We were also thrilled to celebrate our readers’ achievements. Our Read-a-thon winners received gift cards as a special reward for their fantastic efforts, and every child who took part was presented with a certificate and stickers to recognise their commitment and enthusiasm. A huge congratulations from us all goes to every participant — whether you read one book or many, each page turned helped make this event such a success.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our PTA for organising and supporting the event, and to all the families who encouraged and sponsored our readers. Your generosity and encouragement make a real difference and help us continue to provide enriching opportunities for all pupils.
The money raised will greatly benefit the school, helping to enhance reading resources, learning environments and future opportunities that inspire a lifelong love of learning.
Well done to everyone involved – we are incredibly proud of our Gosford Park readers and already can’t wait for the next Readathon!
We would also like to say a huge thank you to Scholastic for their kind and generous offer of additional books, which will be a wonderful addition to our school library and enjoyed by many pupils for years to come.
