Our Journey: Growing and Improving Together
At Gosford Park Primary School, we are committed to a continuous journey of improvement. Our most recent Ofsted inspection (November 2024) highlighted the “strong and caring ethos” that defines our school, noting that “adults build warm relationships with pupils” and that “pupils feel safe and enjoy coming to school.”
We are currently in a period of stability and growth. Our staff team is dedicated to refining our ambitious curriculum, ensuring that teaching and learning consistently meet the high expectations we have for all our pupils. By focusing on well-structured lessons and a supportive environment, we are ensuring that Gosford Park remains a place where every child has the tools they need to succeed.
Our School Through the Eyes of Our Pupils
While Ofsted reports provide a formal evaluation of our standards, the true heart of Gosford Park is best described by the children who learn and grow here every day. When asked to describe their school, our pupils say we are:
• “Safe, respectful and the best”
• “Challenging, exciting and cheerful”
• “Learning, growing, together”
• “Diverse, colourful and unique”
• “Multicultural, family, supportive”
These values sit at the centre of our “One community, many cultures; growing and learning together” motto and drive our continuous improvement journey.
