Year 6 have been working hard to calculate the volume of shapes. We have manipulated cubes to show our understanding and solved problems where we have been able to use mathematical language such as: height, length, width, cubic centimeters. We calculated volume of 3D shapes and then proved our methods through using concrete, pictorial and abstract understanding.
