Our Year 6 pupils had a fantastic time taking part in Paddle Fest at Coventry Canal Basin, enjoying a memorable day on the water and trying out new skills.
Paddle Fest is a popular event that introduces children to water-based activities in a safe and exciting environment. This year, our pupils took to the water in shared kayaks, working together to paddle, steer and navigate the canal. The experience encouraged teamwork, communication and perseverance, as well as providing plenty of fun along the way!
We were incredibly proud of how our pupils represented the school throughout the day. They showed excellent behaviour, listened carefully to instructions and supported one another as they developed their confidence on the water. Their enthusiasm and positive attitudes were a credit to themselves and the school.
It was wonderful to see so many smiles as the children embraced this unique opportunity and challenged themselves to try something new.
A huge thank you to the organisers for delivering such a fantastic event and providing our pupils with an experience they will remember for years to come.
Well done to the Year 6 pupils who attended – you were amazing! 🚣♂️⭐
